To Whom It May Concern:

I first met [First Last Name] while interviewing candidates to fill a Systems Programmer position at [Company Name]. He appeared to be extremely ambitious and most importantly, did not seem to be afraid of working to achieve what he wanted. I recommend that we hire [First Name] and I have not been disappointed. [First Name] has become one of the most valued members of the Technology Staff.

[First Name] spends his own time furthering his knowledge, not only of technology we are currently using, but what is anticipated in the future. In doing so, he has been able to progress past others on the staff that has many more years of experience and education. In fact, he has created and conducted classes for other members of the Information Services Department.

He loves a challenge and will not shy away from any assignment as he would say, "Give it to me!". When projects are given to him, I do not have to worry because I know that they will be completed thoroughly, accurately, effectively, and on schedule.

It is refreshing to find someone like [First Name], who still believes that one should work for that 'paycheck’. He is an inspiration and motivator to others and I would not hesitate to hire him again.

[First M. Last Name]
